Women and Video Games: An Interview With Meagan Marie
Phew! So, here we go!
I’ll admit that I was very, very nervous to do this interview with The Hairpin. After the line of questioning was explained to me, I decided to put my fears aside and be open and honest about a few very personal subjects, more so than I’ve ever been in the past. It was scary, but the lovely Jennifer Culp helped ease my nerves through a discussion about how annoying it is when our significant others interrupt long-awaited romantic encounters in Mass Effect.
Because the Hairpin caters to a large female audience, I wanted to share some of my personal and professional experiences that are directly tied to being a woman. I did this as a means of making public some lessons I’ve learned throughout the past few years for other young professionals to hopefully learn from.
I hope if proves insightful, if only for a few of you. :)
