Here are the four costumes I started constructing in 2012! I’m very busy and I don’t make a lot of costumes every year; I work when I get inspired, and besides, I’m constantly updating older costumes, too. In fact, Effie Trinket is the only one of these that ISN’T still a work in progress!

Hugely impressive cosplay here which perfectly showcases the skill of LadyS (her work has been featured here before). Based upon the character Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games movie. This clip makes me smile. We had such a great time that day :D
a few photos from the Reaping Hunger Games photoshoot we had yesterday. The sun was crazy and unfortunately in a lot of the pics we’re squinting because owww sun, but besides that most of the pictures came out okay! I think i’m the only one of the people with a tumblr, but all the photography is by Subject Matters Photography

This is a photo that Rachael (the Reaping Katniss) and I have been wanting to do for a long time. It was so moving to do it at the actual location of their town. That’s Peeta’s bakery just behind us. I’m actually even tearing up in this photo!

This morning was insane. It was BELOW freezing, so my bow was actually frozen and refused to bend properly (hence my abysmal archery form). But otherwise, it was so breathtaking and amazing to be there! I can’t wait to go back.
On a side note, my shirt is black, but it looks navy in the pics…
LadyS makes an amazing Foxface, too!
